WHAT IT DOES
Jellyfishbot is an autonomous electric robot designed to safely collect trash and hydrocarbons from the water’s surface. Its compact design means it can squeeze into tight corners to remove waste, including macro- and micro-waste, floating plastic, cigarette butts, duckweed and organic waste, paint debris, and more. Fitted with specialized accessories and probes, it can also:
- Seal off areas quickly and easily with a boom of up to 100 m
- Carry out remote inspections in hard-to-reach areas and upload recorded media to a web platform
- Perform depth measurements at depths of between 1 m and 20 m to monitor and maintain bodies of water (for example, it can create maps using the data collected and calculate the volume of water)
Interactive Autonomous DYnamic Systems
IADYS designs, develops, and markets innovations at the junction between artificial intelligence and robotics, with the aim of creating the most environmentally friendly and sustainable solutions to protect the water. Founded in the south of France in 2016 by Nicolas Carlési, IADYS is committed to protecting the aquatic environment using robot-powered technologies and solutions such as Jellyfishbot.

Our impact in their words

Innovate—Clean—Measure—Preserve
“In a world in which solutions to reduce humanity’s impact on the environment are needed more than ever, our technology is aimed at industry stakeholders, pollution cleanup experts, harbor managers, water body managers, scientists, researchers, and environmental organizations.
Our strategy involves deploying our innovations—which combine AI and robotics—across all sites that create pollution, helping them in their environmental transition and reducing their impact on the aquatic environment.”
Nicolas Carlési
